[The sun rises. Some beams, poking through the void clouds, sparkle off the snow and shards of broken glass. It's another beautiful day, and Takao is having an excellent time. By which it is meant to say, this is hell, and he's in hell. Over the course of the trial discussion on the second day, anyone watching closely would see Takao frustrated with the proceedings, intermittently engaged in restless gestures - biting his lip, blowing strands of hair out from his face, getting the cricks out of his broken neck. When the new ghosts arrived in the evening he mustered up a smile for not much longer than it took to say "hello", and rather than a sign he was perking up, this is a gesture that took effort leaving him all the more depleted in the morning. At least they don't exactly have breakfast meetings so Takao doesn't have to impose himself on anyone else when he adds impatient pacing to the mix--
